Using Media That Wrinkles Easily/Does Not Move Smoothly

This section explains the recommended setting method when using media that wrinkles easily/does not move smoothly. Depending on the model you are using, this setting may be disabled.

1. Click for the queue folder that you want to use.

   

   The Queue Properties window appears.
2. Click .
3. Select Use Custom Settings for Other Controls.
4. Set the Vacuum Power.
   Set the intensity of the vacuum that holds the media flat on the platen. Increase the power when the media often gets warped or wrinkled. Decrease the power when using soft media. In this way you may be able to improve the feeding of the media.
5. Click OK.
   Tip: You can also configure the same setting in the Job Settings window.
