Setting the Heater/Dryer Temperature

This section explains how to set the media-drying devices such as the printer's heater and dryer. Depending on the model you are using, this setting may be disabled.

1. Click for the queue folder that you want to use.

   

   The Queue Properties window appears.
2. Click .
3. Select Use Custom Settings for Other Controls.
4. Set the Heater Controls.
   • Pre Heater
   • Print Heater
   • Dryer
   Select the check boxes to enable the setting of the device temperatures. Clear the check boxes to turn off the devices during printing. Depending on the model you are using, some setting items may not be displayed.
   The items that can be set vary depending on the printer.
5. Click OK.
   Tip: You can also configure the same setting in the Job Settings window.
