Saving a PRT Native File

This section explains how to save RIP processed data as a file.

1. From the job list, select the job you printed.
2. Click .
   The Save As window appears.
3. Select PRT File for File type.
4. Enter the file name, and then click Save….
   The PRT native file is saved.

   Tip: This makes it possible to transfer the file directly to and print from the printer without performing processing by the RIP, which reduces the processing performed by the computer and shortens the work time. However, the print settings cannot be changed when printing the job again. Also, the file size of PRT native files varies depending on the printing quality and the output size.
