Registering a Roland Color System Library Color in the Application

This section explains how to load Roland Color System Library colors into the color palette of your application and how to register these colors in the application.

You can load Roland Color System Library colors into the color palette of your application. This is very useful, as this allows you to easily specify the spot colors from the color palette. VersaWorks comes with palette data for some applications. Register this palette data in your application. Currently, swatch libraries for Adobe Illustrator 10/CS/CS2/CS3 and for CorelDRAW 11/12/X3 are available. Swatch library files are stored on the RIP server (the computer on which VersaWorks is installed). Copy these files to the target computer (the computer on which Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW is installed). The operating method is the same regardless of whether the target computer uses a Windows or Macintosh OS.
