Step 2: Start Printing
Follow the procedure below to check that special colors have been properly recognized, and then start printing.
- Click File - Add Job to Queue Folder.
- Click the queue folder that you want to use.

Select the data created in your application.
The job is added to the job list.

In the job list, double-click the job.
The Job Settings window appears.
- Click .

Select the Convert Special Color (Value Specified Color) check box.
When special colors are properly recognized, the following items are displayed:
Input Color The special color used with the job is displayed. If the output color is a special color defined in the Lab color space, a caution mark () is displayed when the output color cannot be reproduced (it is out of the gamut) with the selected media and quality. Output Color Displays the process color values to which the special color has been converted. Details Click this button to display the Special Color List window. - Configure the media settings and other such settings necessary for printing, and then click OK.

Select a job from the job list, and then click .
Processing by the RIP and printing are performed.Tip:
- For special colors whose output colors are defined in the Lab color space, select the color matching method from the Matching Method list. Color matching is performed according to this setting. (The Color Settings - Advanced - Matching Method setting under Quality will be ignored.)
- You can fine-tune the output color if necessary.
- You can also enable Convert Special Color (Value Specified Color) by clicking in the Queue Properties window. In this case, special color conversion will be performed even if you do not enable this function in the Job Settings window.
