Step 2: Configure the Client Settings (Windows 10)

Configure the output settings on the client computer.

1. Make sure the RIP server is running, and then log on to the client computer as an administrator.
2. Click Start - Windows System - Control Panel.
3. Click View devices and printers (or Devices and Printers).
4. Click Add a printer.
5. Click The printer that I want isn't listed.
6. Select the option Select a shared printer by name (or Find a printer in the directory, based on location or feature), and then click Next.
7. Select \\(name of the RIP server computer), and then click Select.
8. Select RolandVW (the nickname of the printer you want to output to), and then click Select.
9. Click Next.
10. When a window indicating that VersaWorks has been installed correctly is displayed, click Next.
11. Clear the Set as the default printer check box, and then click Next.
12. Perform test printing if necessary, and then click Finish.
