Canceling RIP'ing and Printing

Follow the procedure below to pause or cancel RIP or printing in progress.

Canceling RIP'ing and printing in progress

Follow the procedure below to cancel RIP and printing in progress.
If the printing data has been already transmitted to the printer, you may need to cancel the printing on the printer.

Click during RIP'ing or printing.
The process is canceled.
Menu:[Job] - [Cancel]
If necessary, cancel the printing on the printer .
For operating instructions on the printer, refer to the documentation of your printer.

Pausing printing

Follow the procedure below to pause printing.

During printing, click[Printer] - [Pause].
Printing temporarily stops.

To resume printing, click [Printer] - [Resume].

Disconnecting the printer

Follow the procedure below to temporarily disconnect the printer (set it offline) during printing.

During printing, click [Printer] - [Offline].
While the printer is set to offline, the printer icon blinks and turns off.
Printing temporarily stops.
To set the printer online and resume printing, click [Printer] - [Online].

Note

In case you cancel printing when the printer is set to offline, "Not Connected" may appear in the status display area in the setting area of the main window, and you may be not able to set the printer online.
In this case, follow the "Roland VersaWorks Dual Installation Guide" and "Basic Settings of VersaWorks Dual" to configure printer settings once again.
