Pontics in bridges act mainly as possible docking points for connectors. In order to set connectors for defined pontics, this must be taken into account in the connector profile settings.

If there are no metadata or no pontics have been defined using the metadata of the part, you can define them manually in a later stage.
 
To mark a pontic, position the mouse pointer in the corresponding area and then click the left mouse button. The marking is visualized as a blue square.
 
To clear the marking on a pontic, select the marking and press the Delete key.
You can make the selection by directly clicking the blue square, by opening the drop-down list and selecting the corresponding position, or by using the left/right arrow keys next to the drop-down list.
 
For pontics defined by the metadata of the part, the markings are partially invisible since the coordinates of the definition lie inside the pontic.
