Machine and Fixture

Button for activating the machine selection

The project data is calculated for the selected machining device, and the geometry of the fixture is included in the collision check.

If necessary, you can change the selection at a later stage prior to the calculation.

The defined machines and fixtures are displayed in the selection panel. Click to select the corresponding elements.

If there are several machines and the assignment is not unique, you must select the machine.   If the assignment is clear, the machine and holder are automatically selected and loaded.

Manual choice of machine & holder combination. Depending on the configuration, only certain combinations are admissible. The current state is checked. If a disc is loaded as a blank, only a disc holder can be loaded! Click "Apply" to continue.
 
Go to the Fixture settings to assign a fixture to a machine.

Machine

Select the machine.

The machine determines the process for calculating the toolpaths.

Fixtures

Select a fixture for machining that is then displayed on the workspace.

Fixture instance

If several instances/units exist for a holder type, these can be selected explicitly. These must be entered in the holder definition file (.fmdf). Please contact the FOLLOW-ME! support for assistance.

Apply

Accept selection and close the window.

Cancel

Cancel the process and close the window.
