Printing Settings File Operations (Loading, Saving, and Deleting)

This page explains how to load and save printing settings files configured on the [Queue Properties] window.

Loading printing settings files


  1. Double-click or .
    The [Queue A (B) Properties] window appears.
  2. Click .
    The [Select Printing Settings File] window appears.
  3. From the list of printing settings files, click the file that you want to load.
    The information of the printing settings file is displayed on the right side of the screen.
  4. Click [OK].

Tip

Overwriting printing settings files

  1. Display the [Queue A (B) Properties] window for the settings you want to save.
  2. Click .
If an update confirmation message appears

If conditions (1) and (2) shown below are both met, an update confirmation message will appear.

(1) The same printing settings file is loaded in multiple Queue Properties.
(2) The printing settings file is overwritten from one of the Queue Properties.


[Yes]: Synchronize the [A] and [B] printing settings.

[No]: The [A] and [B] printing settings will be saved separately.

Saving printing settings files with a new file name

  1. Display the [Queue A (B) Properties] window that you want to save.
  2. Click .
    The [Save Printing Settings File] window appears.
  3. Enter a name for the printing settings file.
  4. Click [OK].
    You will return to the [Queue A (B) Properties] window. The file name that you entered in step 3 is displayed in the blue banner at the top of the window.

Deleting printing settings files


  1. Double-click or .
    The [Queue A (B) Properties] window appears.
  2. Click or .
    The [Select (Save) Printing Settings File] window appears.
  3. From the list of printing settings files, click the file that you want to delete.
    The information of the printing settings file is displayed on the right side of the screen.
  4. Click to delete the file.
    Alternatively, right-click the printing settings file that you want to delete, and then click [Delete].
  5. Click [OK].
