Image contour lines cannot be created accurately.
Contour lines cannot be extracted with the intended results from images, such as photographs, that do not have clear boundaries between colors.
In such cases, use an image-editing program (such as Paint in Windows) to preprocess the image and make it more suitable for extracting the outline.
For more information about the requirements of images that are suitable for contouring (extracting the outline), refer to the
[Object] - [Image Outline] command.
A shape cannot be imported.
The configuration changes when imported.
When you import an Adobe Illustrator or Dr. STIKA PLUS file, the configuration of some objects may change.
For more information, see "
Reusing existing data."
A symbol cannot be registered.
Images cannot be registered as symbols.
When more than one object is selected, registration is not possible if even a single one of the objects is an image.
To register an object as a symbol, select a non-image object (a shape or text).
