1) Select the [Settings] > [Import database objects] menu item:
The selection window shows the selection option for drive, directory, and export file along with the data to be imported.

2) Import file: Double-click the file. The file is loaded.
The data is checked for identical parts (same internal ID).

3) If necessary, select [Overwrite existing objects]:

If the internal ID is the same, replace the existing parts with the imported parts.

Keep existing parts.

4) If necessary, select [Copy existing, modified objects]:

If the internal ID is the same, create a copy of the imported parts with a new internal ID. If the names of the parts are the same: Add an index to the name of the imported part, for example: [3x-Coping-CoChr] --> [3x-Coping-CoChr (2)].

Do not import parts with the same internal ID.

Once imported, a window shows the imported parts and the changes made to the database.
|
|
During the import, the imported parts are assigned a new internal ID that differs from the previous ID. Therefore, hyperDENT cannot recognize whether a part that has already been imported is being imported again (multiple times).
