Parts can be automatically tilted to their minimum height in the blank.

As a result, the smallest suitable blank is always selected, which reduces material costs
and can also have a positive impact on the processing time. Furthermore, this can save time when choosing the optimum blank
because the required blank height is automatically calculated in hyperDENT.  

 

Requirements for automatic tilting:

 

The function must be described in Settings > General > Load wizard > Tilt part in blank must be set to “Automatic.”

Max. tilt angle for parts This angle should be smaller than the maximum angle of the machine axes. If 5X movements are stored in the template, the max. inclination angle for parts plus max. angle of the 5X movement should be smaller/equal to the max. machine axes.

The tilting direction can be set for each fixture.

 

 

only X-axis > Only the X-/A-axis is used for tilting.

prefer X-axis > Tilt over the X-/A-axis first; if not sufficient, additional tilt over the Y-/B-axis.

only Y-axis > Only the Y-/B-axis is used for tilting.

prefer Y-axis > Tilt over the Y-/B-axis first; if not sufficient, additional tilt over the X-/A-axis.

Any > Tilting is spread equally over both axes.
