Changing the Blade Force

If the material was not cut correctly (for example, if two shapes peeled off together as a result of the cutting test), change the blade force.

Procedure

1. Check that the PEN FORCE slider is in its center setting (at "0" on the scale).
   

   

2. Press .

   

   The blade force is displayed.

   

3. Press to change the value.

   

4. Press to confirm.
   

   
   

   Fine-tuning blade force

   After you set the blade force using the FORCE menu, you can further fine-tune the blade force using the PEN FORCE slider. Use this procedure when you want to make the blade force slightly larger or smaller than the setting made using the menu.

   

   Adjustable Range: ± Approximately 30 gf
