Shapes unsuitable for cutting

The following shapes are not suitable for cutting.
This should be kept in mind when creating shapes with CutStudio.

TITLE Open shapes

A shape whose start point and end point do not coincide is called an "open shape."
An open shape is not suitable for cutting because the material cannot be peeled off after the shape has been cut.

TITLE Partially intersecting (overlapping) shapes

Data like that in the figure below, where two shapes partially intersect, is not suitable for cutting.
Objects (shapes and text) should be arranged or welded together so that shapes do not overlap.
Overlapping shapes

Even when shapes overlap, they are suitable for use as cutting data if their lines do not intersect.
