[Image Outline] dialog box

Preview
This displays the image whose outline is to be extracted and the contour lines that are created.
The contour lines are displayed in blue.
Extract Contour Lines
This extracts the outline (contours) of an image and creates a polyline.
If the image contains gradations, repeat the process of adjusting the darkness and creating the outline until you obtain a polyline that is close to what you want.
Welding of Contour
Welds all the extracted outlines (figures).
The result remains unchanged when there are no crossing figures.
Alignment Image Density
If the image contains gradations, adjust the darkness to prepare the image to use for extraction.
Adjust the threshold values for color darkness to add light-colored areas to the target and to make only dark areas the target.
After you have adjusted the darkness, click [Extract Contour Lines] again.
Remove Thin Lines
Deletes tiny figures whose areas are small from all the extracted outlines (figure).
Since tiny figures are difficult to cut and difficult to peel off even if they can be cut, we recommend that you turn on this function under normal operation.
You can specify the size of the figures to be deleted by moving the slider left and right. Move the slider to the [Small] direction to reduce the size of the figures to be deleted. Move the slider to the [Large] direction to increase the size of the figures to be deleted.
To confirm the applied result of the specified size, click [Extract Contour Lines]. If it is difficult to see outlines, select [Contours only] in [Items displayed].
Items Displayed
You can use this list if it is difficult to see both images and outlines when they are both displayed such as when you are adjusting the image darkness and when you are adjusting the size of the figures to be deleted.
With this function, you can display images only or outlines only.
